Capital Development Authority (CDA)

Capital Development Authority was established on 14, June 1960 by executive order entitled Pakistan Capital Regulation. Capital Development Authority is the authority that is responsible for the buildings planning, towns and maintenance in Islamabad. Its responsibilities also include the coordination with other authorities such as Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad and the administration of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is a public benefit corporation that is responsible for the providing of the Municipal services in the Islamabad area. In the area of Islamabad, the CDA is not only the coordinating and planning Authority but it is also the Administrative Authority.
